Working a little more over the last couple of months has meant that I have been able to splurge a little, and treat myself to some makeup goodies that have been on my wishlist for the longest time.
Much to every Australian beauty-addicts delight, the Sephora Australia website launched earlier this month. As soon as I heard Tarte was landing the proceeding Wednesday I jumped on the website at 12pm that day and waited impatiently as their products were slowly, slowly uploaded. The Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush in the shades Exposed and Natural Beauty made their way into my basket and arrived on my doorstep a very short time later. I am so pleased with both of these shades. I know that I am going to get so much use out of them. I particularly like the natural-yet-vibrant flush of colour that Natural Beauty gives my cheeks; I really didn’t think I would enjoy it as much as I do!
Next on the agenda was a little peruse on the ever-so-lovely Beautylish website, primarily at Charlotte Tilbury’s beautiful products. Again, I settled for two items that had been on my radar for quite some time. First of all I purchased the Cheek to Chic Blush in the perfect everyday nude shade Sex On Fire, which the skincare queen herself, Caroline Hirons, raves about. And secondly I bought the K.I.S.S.I.N.G. Lipstick in Bitch Perfect. I am yet to break into both the blush and lipstick as I wanted to keep them pristine for today’s blog photos. Although unfortunately I did manage to dent the lipstick bullet whilst giving the package a bit of a clean with my jumper sleeve this morning *sigh*. I am sure you can all understand my frustrations!
Anyhoo I must depart, there are many odd-jobs to be done today.
Until next time my dears,
My very first Cult Beauty order consisted of the long-lusted after Tata’s Daily Essentials kit. I have had my eye on it months, originally on the Net-A-Porter website which ending up selling out. I reached out to the Net-A-Porter customer service team to ask when it would be back in stock, and when they informed me they were unsure, I immediately decided to order it from Cult Beauty, as I really did not want to miss out!
Skincare sample kits such as these are a wonderful way to test out a number of different products from a brand, without having to fork out lots of dollars for a full size product each time, at the risk of you being unhappy and it going to waste!
This set contains all of Tata Harper’s ‘essentials’, all of which I cannot wait to try. I have heard nothing but good things about this wonderful brand, whose skincare prides itself on containing no synthetics, GMO, fillers, gluten or synthetic fragrances. Nor do they test their products on any of natures little furry friends.
In detail, the kit contains:
- A 15ml jar of Regenerating Cleanser
- A 7.5ml jar of the Resurfacing Mask
- A 15ml size spray of the Hydrating Floral Essence
- A 10ml size pump of the Rejuvenating Serum
- A 10ml pump of the Repairative Moisturiser
- A 1ml sachet of the Restorative Eye Cream and lastly;
- A 3ml roller ball of the Replenishing Nutrient Complex.
It is essentially an entire skincare routine in a box. Perfect!
Have you had the opportunity to try any of Tata Harper’s skincare? Let me know! I have my eye on some of her other luscious cleaners next…
After promising to upload my Mecca haul post-haste on my last post, I have now left it about a week. That is definitely not post-haste at all! Oh well. Better late than never I suppose!
Alongside my previously-blogged-about Mecca Beauty Loop Level 2 box, I also received three very exciting beauty products, all of which I have been lusting after for a very, very long time.
I have now added another shade to my By Terry Ombre Blackstar Cream Eyeshadow stash. This time it was the beautiful golden shade 11 Beyond Gold. There are no other cream eyeshadow crayons that compare to these By Terry ones – they are phenomenal. I am sure I will get allot of use out of this one; gold is definitely my go-to eyeshadow shade.
Next I purchased the Dr Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Daily Face Peel Pads. I ordered the five day trial pack, as I wanted to see how my skin reacted to them. I love a bitta acid exfoliation, as I am sure you all know by now, so I am curious to see how they perform. I hope I wake up looking five years younger ;)
Last but not least I added a sample pot of the Kate Somerville Nourish Daily Moisturiser to my order. Both the man and I LOVE her Goat Milk Cream, so it seems imperative to give some of her other products a whirl. I have heard great things about this moisturiser, so I do have high hopes for it… But being Kate Somerville I am sure I won’t be disappointed; this woman seems to do no wrong!
As always, Mecca is very generous with their samples; allowing you to choose three to add to your order. This time I went for the Kate Somerville CytoCell Dark Circle Corrective Eye Cream, the By Terry Sheer Expert Fluid Foundation and the Josie Maran Argan Matchmaker Serum Foundation.
I will keep you updated as to my thoughts on these products as I trial them over the next few weeks. Let me know if you would like to see a specific review on any of them, as I would be more than happy to upload a post for you.
Until next time my beauties,
When I received the email from Mecca that their quarterly Beauty Loop Box was now I available, I immediately jumped their website and started filling my cart with goodies. After ALLOT of deliberation, I finally decided on which products I needed in my life and then my order was placed.
The following Monday my order arrived and I couldn’t way to delve into the Beauty Loop Box to see what generous samples we were given this time around. I was absolutely delighted by what I found.
In detail, the box included:
How fabulous is that?! I was absolutely thrilled by the contents of this box, and I cannot wait to test out all of these incredible beauty product samples. Although, I have to say, I am most excited for the Nars Multiple (if you couldn’t already tell… he he).
I will be back post-haste to fill you in on all the details of the products I ordered alongside my Beauty Loop Box.
